Race Points / Scoring
All Race Points posted on the MQMRA Forums are unofficial! To calculate the
actual points standing you need to drop two of the lowest numbers from the
score sheet for each racer in the class.
Race Points – Points will be awarded on points series race days for registering
and for all races as follows:
Heat Points
1st – 15 points
2nd – 13 points
3rd – 11 points
Goes down by 1 point for each place in the finishing order.
Semi Points
1st – 15 points
2nd – 13 points
3rd – 11 points
Goes down by 1 point for each place in the finishing order.
B-Main points
1st - 4th gets no points and transfer to feature to get points there.
5th – 8 points
Goes down by 1 point for each place in the finishing order.
Feature Points
1st – 30 points
2nd – 25 points
Goes down by 2 points for each place in the finishing order.
Shortened Race Day
Heat Points
1st – 30 points
2nd – 25 points
3rd – 22 points
Goes down by 2 points for each place in the finishing order.
Semi Points
1st – 30 points
2nd – 25 points
3rd – 22 points

Cancelled Race Days will be awarded no points!

Each race team is responsible to double check their results. If they believe there
is a discrepancy, which they can prove, contact Pam Larson via MQMRA Forums
before the next race day! After the next race day the standings are set and
official.
